Curtis is a writer and improvisor who lives in New York City. He performs with the improv group Sleuth (at UCB Chelsea’s Harold Night). He writes for Multiplayer Singlerplayer, McSweeney’s, and other sites, as necessary. He also tweets. A lot.
Curtis graduated from The Evergreen State College in 2003 and was chosen as undergraduate speaker. He used his platform to warn others of the dangers of listening to undergraduate speakers. After graduation, he made doughnuts for several years in Seattle for the then-tiny Top Pot Doughnuts, before moving to New York City in 2006. He is currently a teacher and tutor and wrote or revised many of The Princeton Review’s test preparation books. He also coaches improv.
